Rooms

Alpine Village cabins vary in size and can sleep anywhere between two and five guests. The authentic log cabin structure and warm, rustic furnishings inside create a cosy atmosphere and homely comfort. Bedrooms in the Heritage Cabins and the second bedroom in the Family Cabin can be quite small and guests may wish to upgrade to Deluxe Cabins if requiring more space. All cabins are en suite and most come with a kitchenette, a wood-burning fireplace and a private outdoor area with a barbecue where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Location

The location of this property is most definitely its greatest asset, as guests can take advantage of a convenient five-minute drive into town without compromising on the Rocky Mountain experience. Its setting provides seclusion and tranquillity, surrounded by the stunning Canadian wilderness. Guests are advised to have their own vehicle when staying at this property as there are no dining services on site and no shuttle provided into town. Taxis, however, are inexpensive as the journey time is so short.

Food and drink

Alpine Village does not provide any food service on site and guests will usually visit Jasper for dining. However, there are barbecues with most cabins for guests to use at their convenience. General grocery items are also available for purchase at the property.

Families

The Family Cabin and Deluxe Family Cabin can both accommodate up to five guests, with the latter being more spacious. There are also several options for three to four guests. Children can have fun in the property's outdoor playground.

Facilities and activities

Alpine Village has a heated outdoor hot pool, with its deck area overlooking the Athabasca River. A selection of books and games can be borrowed, ideal for relaxing in the evenings after exploring the wilderness. There are also a number of marked walking and hiking trails surrounding the property that weave through the beautiful landscape.
