Responsible Choice
Enjoy a cooking lesson at a traditional family home in the old city of Fez. You will first go shopping in the souqs for fresh ingredients before starting your lesson with the ladies of the family. A translator is provided to aid communication between the family and yourself and enhance this first-hand cultural insight.
Not only will you get to prepare a tasty tagine of your choice, you will also learn to preserve lemons, a key ingredient in Moroccan cuisine, and bake Moroccan bread, known as ‘khubz’, at the communal oven.
After a fun and interactive lesson, you will sit down with the family to enjoy your meal — finished with the preparation of mint tea in true Moroccan style.
