This UNESCO World Heritage National Park lies at the foot of the McPherson Ranges and straddles some of Queensland’s most impressive landscapes.
Take a bush walk and you will see an implausible array of ferns and species of orchid. There is an abundance of colourful birdlife, from the noisy pitta to the glossy black cockatoos that flit happily through the towering eucalyptus canopy.
A highlight is an amazing canopy walk that meanders through the treetops. Make the climb to the crow’s nest and be rewarded with a view of the Green Mountains.
