On arrival in Cairo, your family are met by one of our friendly local representatives who whisk you through Cairo International Airport before you are driven to the Kempinski Nile Hotel in the city's downtown area. The hotel is well-located and within walking distance of Tahrir Square, the Egyptian Museum, and downtown Cairo.

This morning, your private guide and driver will meet you at your hotel for a half-day tour of the Giza pyramids and Sphinx. Your family will be shown around the expansive complex and given the chance to go inside the Great Pyramid. Afterwards, you will take a short camel ride across the Giza plateau, a great opportunity to take some memorable photos. The rest of the day is spent at leisure. You could enjoy the hotel pool or head down to Khan el-Khalili to do some shopping in the souq.

Today, you meet your private, expert tour guide who introduces you and your family to the wonderfully disorganized Egyptian Museum, home to many Pharaonic treasures, most notably Tutankhamun’s death mask. In the afternoon, you all head out on a food tour downtown and get the chance to try a range of Egyptian and Cairene cuisine. You visit around six stops and sample various food and beverages, from classics such as ta'amiya, ful, and kosheri, to juices such as sugar cane and tamarind.

Your private driver collects your family from your downtown hotel, and you travel to Cairo International Airport for your short domestic flight to Hurghada. The flight takes around one hour and ten minutes. On arrival, you are met by a local Audley representative who escorts you through the airport to your waiting private driver, who drives you to the Movenpick Resort El Quseir. The resort lies around two hours south of Hurghada.

Spend the day at leisure. We suggest choosing a family room with a sea view at the Movenpick Resort El Quseir so you wake up on your first morning to views of the Red Sea. The Red Sea is a world-class diving and snorkeling destination, with sites perfectly suited to all ages, levels of ability and experience. The hotel has a private beach and reef right in front of it, making it easily accessible.

Your hotel stay is on a half-board basis, so breakfast and dinner are included. There are a variety of on-site restaurants to choose from, which cater to even the fussiest eaters. This includes buffet-style international food and an Italian restaurant.

This morning, your family will be picked up by your private driver and transferred back to Hurghada Airport for your onward flight home. You will be met by a local representative who will assist you through the airport as you conclude another amazing family adventure.
