The charming Palm Garden is located in the quiet, relaxed beach resort of Amed on Bali's east coast.
The property is owned and run by a Swiss couple and has only ten air-conditioned rooms, all simply decorated but clean and comfortable. The restaurant serves a selection of fresh dishes throughout the day and a small spa is available for relaxing treatments. The hotel has a small pool set in well-established gardens as well as providing direct beach access for snorkelling and swimming.
Amed remains relatively untouched from its busy southern counterparts and affords a view of authentic Balinese lifestyle and culture. For early risers head to the beach to watch the fishermen return to their families who are waiting to clean the daily catch and take it straight to market.
