Bwindi Lodge is an attractive and comfortable lodge set on a steep hillside amidst lush vegetation just outside the border of Bwindi Forest.
There are eight large and comfortable self-contained bandas, and each has a private terrace with fantastic views across the valley to the gallery forest on the opposite hill. The rooms are spacious with lots of windows to enjoy the beautiful views.
The restaurant and bar is on a raised wooden deck with a large terrace looking over the forest, and steps lead down to a lovely river walk along the bottom of the valley. The food is very good and the service is attentive.
