Tucked into a residential area of Salzburg, Hotel & Villa Auersperg is a third-generation family-owned boutique hotel. The property features the main building, a restored 19th-century villa and a private garden. It’s located on a quiet street, and guests can relax to the sounds of the trickling fountain in the shrub-shrouded garden or take advantage of the rooftop spa and its complimentary yoga sessions.
The hotel has an eclectic style with its bright marble floors, antique wooden furniture and brightly tiled reception desk. The 55 rooms and suites are spread across the hotel building and adjacent villa.
Hotel & Villa Auersperg offers a breakfast buffet with a strong emphasis on organic and locally sourced ingredients, with choices such as fresh fruit, muesli, eggs, pastries and bread.
We love the organic focus of this hotel and little details like the local honey from the resident hive at breakfast and the wellness area on the rooftop. It feels like a countryside retreat.
