Table Rock Jungle Lodge

Table Rock Jungle Lodge is a rustic sustainable lodge located in a peaceful and beautiful spot on the banks of the Macal River in the Cayo District.

Table Rock's hundred-acre reserve provides guests with an intimate and friendly experience surrounded by the sights and sounds of the Belizean jungle. At Table Rock there are currently only six rooms which are all well appointed and comfortable but the accommodation is simple. Two of the rooms are adjoining with only a partial wall separating them.

The attentive service in the restaurant and delicious meals are far from simple though making this a fantastic and unique jungle experience for visitors. It is important to advise any special meal requirements in advance. The lodge is best suited to the more independent traveller who is happy to explore their forest surroundings themselves including hiking, swimming, canoeing, river-tubing, birdwatching or by just relaxing and indulging in the fabulous food and hospitality offered by the lodge. Whilst Table Rock is currently not big enough to run its own excursions and do not have their own guides on site (even the on-site river-tubing is self-guided) they can arrange tours for you with an external Belize operator. It is best to give them at least a day's notice to arrange these.

Please note meals are usually included (refer to your day by day itinerary to double-check) but this does not include dessert or coffee. Wines are generally on the more expensive side here (approx US$40 a bottle).
