A welcome boutique hotel in the historical centre of Manaus, this renovated colonial mansion dates back to the height of the rubber boom and this nod to a bygone age is apparent in both the external and internal appearance of the hotel.
Villa Amazonia is actually the sister property to one of the Amazon's most luxury lodges, and you can tell that a great deal of care has been put into recreating this feel within the city of Manaus.
There are three room types, all of which are clean and comfortable with air conditioning — important in the sweltering heat of Manaus. Rooms either overlook the central pool or garden, and in addition the hotel boasts a restaurant and small gym.
