Pousada Praiagogi

Praiagogi is a lovely little pousada located exactly halfway between Recife and Maceió, about two hours 20 minutes from each city. The pousada is set just off the main road with little else around it, allowing guests to have virtually sole use of the huge stretch of beach at the front of the property (please note at high tides this can be submerged). Praiagogi is run by a very friendly and extremely welcoming couple, and with only five rooms you will be able to enjoy a personalized service that very few hotels are able to offer.

Breakfast is served as and when you want it and all food products are bought locally and cooked from fresh. Each of the five rooms is simply furnished but has a small balcony with hammock and a double and single bed with small, older style, but well equipped bathrooms. The pousada also offers a number of lovely excursions and has its own boat for trips out to the reef, all at extra cost.
