Visit the Marble caves
Located on Lago General Carrera these amazingly vibrant blue and gray, partially submerged, cave chambers have been formed by over 6,000 years of erosion.
From Villa O’Higgins board a small motor vessel with capacity for 60 passengers to navigate across the Glacier Lake (O’Higgins Lake) toward the imposing Great Glacier (O’Higgins).
At two-miles long and 260 feet high this wall of ice is one of the most impressive, yet, little visited glaciers in South America. Note that this trip only operates between November and March and you should build in some buffer time as windy conditions means that it may not operate every day.
