The 514 Power Catamaran offers you the complete freedom to explore Grenada, and the surrounding islands, as you wish. Your skipper, an old-hand in these waters, will advise you on how to make the most of your trip, as well as a cook to prepare your meals. Each evening you can choose where you moor, whether you prefer the tranquility of an uninhabited bay or the bustle of a yacht-filled marina.

The catamaran runs on twin 350hp diesel engines, freeing up space on the fly bridge for a comfortable seating area and table where your chef can cook fresh fish on the grill, and you can enjoy sundowners with 360 degree views of the ocean. On the main deck, the saloon and lounge lead out onto outdoor space at the bow. There’s also a small seating area and table at the stern for alfresco dining.

Days can be spent snorkeling Grenada’s healthy coral reefs or kayaking into hidden ocean coves. By boat you can reach some of Grenada’s more inaccessible areas, including secluded ribbons of coral-white sand or tiny restaurants cooking up freshly-caught seafood.

You’re not restricted to the water, and on Grenada, there’s plenty to explore on land. You can cycle or hike around the waterfalls and Crater Lake at Grand Etang National Park, where the paths are dotted with orchids, tropical birds and the occasional lizard. Dubbed the ‘spice isle’, there’s nutmeg plantations and rum distilleries to visit, as well as the Georgian buildings of historic Saint George.

Your skipper, who can help to arrange excursions on land, can also suggest their own lesser-known recommendations. Spend an afternoon discovering a hidden cove or snorkel a coral reef only a few know about. Not limited to Grenada, you can explore a whole host of islands from St Vincent and the Grenadines to Saint Lucia.

Cabins

There are three double cabins on board, as well as a separate cabin for crew. Each cabin is air-conditioned with a private shower, toilet and wash basin. Storage is available under the bed, and on a shelf alongside the bed, which also helps to create more a sense of space than you’d usually get on a vessel this size. Each room feels light and airy with a hull window stretching along one wall.

Routes

After arriving in Grenada’s capital, Saint George, you’ll board your yacht in Port Louis Marina, a short drive away. After that it’s up to you. As an expert in the Caribbean waters, your skipper is on hand to suggest places you might enjoy from uninhabited islets to the bright lights of a bustling marina.

As well as exploring Grenada itself, on a power catamaran you’ll be able to travel further, visiting a wide range of islands. You can sail north to the small, quiet islands of Carriacou and Petite Martinique where you’ll see few fellow sailors. Cruise onward and you can reach the azure waters of St Vincent and the Grenadines, a volcanic archipelago of tiny islands and deserted cays.
