Taman Sari Cottages

Taman Sari blends wonderfully with nature — the simple cottages and suites were built using natural indigenous materials in a relaxed setting surrounded by tranquil gardens and ponds. Each of the six suites has its own character and is individually decorated with antiques and art. Two of the suites have a second floor with a terrace overlooking the ocean and the nearby mountains, while the others have large terraces. All suites are surrounded by a picturesque lotus pond and have a garden bathroom where you can enjoy a shower under the open sky. Taman Sari has six spacious private pool suites, two ocean view junior suites and numerous comfortable air-conditioned cottages overlooking a lawn from which you can watch local fishing boats lazily float by.

Taman Sari boasts a small beachfront pool and restaurant along with a small sunken bar in the pool. Spa treatments are available in the grounds or in your room while for the more active, the snorkeling straight from the beach is a daily activity. Indeed Pemuteran Bay is well known for its 'Reef Garden Project', which is revitalizing the dead coral that was destroyed through fish bombing, global warming and other issues. This rebirthing of the coral reef is being done through metal structures submerged in the ocean, which have a low passive electrical current running to them. This electricity motivates the growth of the coral, making it grow five times faster than normal. Since the success of this project, many new and different kinds of fish are returning to the reef to enjoy a safe and healthy ecosystem.
