Diving & Snorkeling

If you ever tire of relaxing on Benguerra's beautiful white sand beach there are plenty of activities for you to choose from here. There is a fully equipped Dive and Snorkel Centre, and the resident dive instructor will be happy to take you out diving or snorkeling among the coral reefs.

We would definitely recommend taking a snorkel trip out to the "Aquarium" which is an area of coral reefs protected by a ring of rocks and teeming with brightly colored reef fish.

You can also visit Pansy Island which is a tiny island of white sand dunes where you can bathe in the bath-water warm seas and collect the pansy shells which sparkle among the sands.
