SY Meta IV is a two mast, 25 meter boat constructed entirely of Thai teak. Built in 1998 as a private yacht, it has since been fully restored and refitted to start its new life as a charter vessel perfectly suited to cruising around the stunning Mergui Archipelago.

Offering an intimate and personalized experience as you discover the deserted islands of the Mergui Archipelago, Burma Boating’s SY Meta IV provides plenty of spaces in which you can relax and take in your beautiful surroundings, with comfortable cabins, a communal dining area and a sociable top deck.
Each day will bring a new adventure as you encounter Moken sea people fishing and diving for pearls from their hand-crafted boats, explore peaceful mangrove forests shrouded in mists and bask in the sun on the area’s white sand beaches, where the clear waters make for excellent snorkeling opportunities.
