After your 10.00am ferry ride over to Waiheke Island, you will be met at Matiatia Wharf at approximately 10.35am to commence a full day wine tour of the island. Enjoy Waiheke's award-winning wines and locally produced gourmet delights, along with gardens and galleries, music and poetry, native birds and bush walks, in any combination. Visit some of the beautiful Waiheke Island vineyards, with tastings at the best boutique wineries, and a scenic tour of the island with your guide, with time to stop for photographs. One vineyard may be replaced with an olive oil visit and tasting if chosen by the group. The tour guides are happy to take suggestions from the group if you have any special interests.
At the conclusion of your tour you will be returned to the ferry terminal for your trip back to Auckland. The tour then concludes after a return ferry ride at approximately 4.50pm, at Auckland City Wharf.
Please note that the ferry tickets are not included in your tour and so we have included a voucher for these, which needs to be exchanged for your ferry tickets at least 30 minutes before the sailing time of your outbound ferry to Waiheke Island.
