My passion for travel ignited during my university years, where I delved into American and Canadian literature, history, and culture.
After completing my studies, I set off on an adventure through India, Vietnam, Indonesia, and Borneo, eventually making my way to Australia for a year. Upon my return, I joined Audley's Canada team, where I've been ever since. My first extensive Audley journey took me across Canada from west to east, immersing myself in the wildlife, rugged landscapes, and vibrant cities.
Since then, I've continued to explore, venturing off the beaten path into Québec Province and the Kootenay Rockies. My most recent trip was a road trip in Alaska and The Yukon, which truly felt like the final frontier. I was fortunate enough to see a lot of wildlife, too. My bucket-list travel experience in Canada was witnessing the polar bear migration in Churchill.
I'll never forget when…
I was lucky enough to take a seaplane from Vancouver to dine at Bowen Island, a nearby island that has all the rugged mountains, forests and seascapes that British Columbia is known for. It was such a scenic journey, flying over the entire city on a clear-blue afternoon before making our way across the water and wilderness to land in tiny Snug Cove on Bowen Island. We had a great pub meal with pristine forest on one side and the sun setting over the ocean on the other.
