Floor-to-ceiling windows in rooms and suites, and glass-walled bathrooms provide sea views for every occasion — whether lying in bed, soaking in the tub, or curled up on the sofa with a book.

Every room comes with an outdoor terrace, rainfall shower, and barely-there decor that ensures all eyes focus on the stunning ocean views. Even the bathroom amenities are bespoke to capture the scent of sea breeze and pine from this section of Spain’s rocky coastline.

This homage to coastal living continues throughout — from the rooftop saltwater infinity pool, whose panoramic views take in the sea, castle, and port town A Coruña, to the indoor-outdoor restaurant where seasonal wild fish is grilled over holm oak charcoal.

Cuisine combines organic and hyper-local produce with traditional cooking techniques. Expect slow-cooked stews, seafood paellas, and a wine list that uncorks Galicia’s most fruitful terroirs, from Rias Baixas to Ribeiro.

The hotel’s emphasis on sustainability extends beyond local sourcing to renewable energy use and geothermal underfloor heating.

Rooms

NOA Boutique Hotel has two room categories and a handful of suites spread across four floors. Thoughtfully designed, every room — and bed — looks out to sea through floor-to-ceiling windows, and has an open terrace and soaking tub.

Third-floor suites are more spacious and come with a sofa bed for families, while the top-floor NOA Bath room boasts a freestanding tub right beside a huge picture window. All rooms come with copious natural light, heated floors, rainfall showers, and bespoke, eco-friendly bathroom products.

Decor is minimalist, a juxtaposition of wood, glass, and ceramics alongside a natural palette and crisp white linens.

Location

NOA Boutique Hotel is situated in the heart of Porto de Santa Cruz, just a ten-minute drive from A Coruña and an hour from Santiago de Compostela. Nestled on a quiet promenade close to the beach, it faces the sea and Santa Cruz Castle. Several scenic walks run past the hotel — including along Santa Cruz beach to the Trece Rosas Park — and the airport is a 20-minute drive away.

Food and drink

  • OLAS Restaurant offers indoor and outdoor dining at lunch and dinner. The focus is on authentic Galician cuisine using hyper-local ingredients and traditional cooking techniques.
