Rooms

Each of the seven treehouse rooms is unique. Bird’s Nest and Mirrorcube are literal representations of their evocative names, while the bright-red Blue Cone is a simple cabin-style room with a deceptive name. The UFO looks like a 1950s-style flying saucer. The Cabin is built at the precipice of a steep hillside and offers sweeping views from its wooden terrace. Dragonfly is the largest, with a clean, mid-century feel inside and out. The most recent addition, 7th Room, wraps around a pine tree. There are bathrooms with composting toilets in every treehouse, and room service, but only Dragonfly and 7th Room have a shower.

Guesthouse rooms are less dramatic in style and location, but have comfortable interiors with a light and airy feel. Showers are available in The Guesthouse for all guests. Breakfast and dinner are also served here, with a focus on hearty, home-cooked dishes.

Location

The hotel is located in pine forest just outside the tiny, remote town of Harads, slightly south of the Arctic Circle. You’re an 11-hour drive from Stockholm, nestled in a lush boreal forest beside the Luleå River, with views of surrounding mountains.
