The FloatHouse River Kwai

Surrounded by jungle and developed with the eco-conscious traveler in mind, The FloatHouse is built from local materials and staffed mainly by the ethnic Mon community. The 20 boutique floating villas are tastefully decorated with tailor-made teakwood furnishings and feature a private balcony and pier to enjoy the panoramic river views.

Each room is equipped with a 32" LCD TV, hot water rain shower and air conditioning and is connected by a spacious common area. The resort serves international cuisine in the Pontoon Restaurant and features the Moon Lounge and bar on an open-air wooden deck, an ideal place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. With a host of activities to enjoy such as kayaking, bamboo rafting, hiking and birdwatching to name a few. The FloatHouse is the perfect base to relax and experience the history and culture of the Kanchanaburi area.
