Lahu Village experience

After breakfast you will visit Phu Muen Waterfall where there will be an opportunity to buy ingredients in the nearby village for your lunch. From here take a 4x4 vehicle up the mountain to a Lahu village and enjoy the breath-taking views. Enjoy a stroll through the local community with your Lahu guide and prepare a traditional lunch with your hosts.

You will visit the tea plantations and learn how the villagers make a living by picking and processing tea and coffee, both of which are organically grown on the mountain. Join in with the locals and learn hands-on how this works and the secret behind their success in the transition from cultivating opium to coffee and tea. Before you return to the hotel join in (or simply observe) a local dancing ceremony with the hill-tribes. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Phumanee.
