Bahia Vik

The newest addition to the Vik property collection in Uruguay, Bahia Vik is another stunning hotel in a beautiful location right on the beach with good access to the Atlantic Ocean (the only of the Vik properties with offshore swimming).

As with the other properties, artist involvement is an important focus and a wide range of contemporary Uruguayan and international artists have created unique installations for each room and communal space. Bahia is the largest Vik property with ten spacious suites, all with private terraces and most with broad sweeping views of the dunes, beach and ocean as well as a collection of beach bungalows. These bungalows are excellent for families or small groups.

Bahia Vik has four large swimming pools as well as spa facilities and guests are invited to partake in riding and other activities at the Estancia, as well as to use the facilities of Playa Vik. Dining at Bahia Vik can be expensive but is often an open air affair and includes traditional Uruguayan barbecue, fresh fish and seafood, locally grown produce, homemade breads and pastries, accompanied by the Vik’s own wine which is produced in Chile.
