Located just outside Lake Powell, the camp sits on a canyon rim plateau with sweeping views across to Grand Staircase, Escalante National Monument. There are just 50 plush glamping tents dotted around 220 acres of unspoilt desert so you can truly enjoy some privacy in this vast landscape. There are also firepits lit in the evening where you can roast s'mores. Activities at Lake Powell including tours of Horseshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon and Glen Canyon can be reached in a 20-minute drive, and Lone Rock Beach is a 10-minute drive if you'd like time at leisure to swim in the lake.
The camps are very eco-conscious and strive to leave as much of a minimal footprint as possible. Low flow toilets, solar power, recycling and compostable materials all help to ensure that the land is as left as untouched as possible.
Please note that there are a few things to be aware of before your stay: there are no electricity outlets in the tents so battery packs are provided but they do not last through the night. We highly recommend bringing your own portable chargers for phones and GPS. The wood burners in each tent are the only source of heat, please ask a member of staff to show you how to work these.

The tents at Under Canvas Lake Powell share the same light and minimal style, with white canvas sheltering. They have simple but stylish wooden furnishings and wood floorboards. All have en suite bathrooms, but they vary in size from the intimate Deluxe and Stargazer tents to more spacious Suites and tents that interconnect for families. Stargazer tents have a clear ceiling over the bed so you can lie awake looking up at the stars before drifting off to sleep. All tents have organic bath products, USB battery packs to charge your gadgets, and wood-burning stoves.
