Bike the Greenway & Central Park Tour
Bike the Greenway & Central Park Tour
Join a small group of fellow cyclists for an afternoon of exploring the sites of New York's Central Park.
This is a wonderful opportunity to pedal on a traffic-free bike path along the Hudson River, past famous landmarks and over the Brooklyn Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in the world when it was built.
See the Hudson River Park, Battery Park, South Street Seaport, the Statue of Liberty and all of Lower Manhattan from the top of the bridge. Today, the Brooklyn Bridge offers cyclists a car-free pedestrian walkway, running down the center of the bridge and above the traffic.
This challenging self-guided 14 mile scenic afternoon ride takes you on a loop between the Manhattan and Brooklyn Bridges. There is also time to explore the Brooklyn waterfront, a great place to stop for ice cream, pizza, and breathtaking views across the Hudson River of Lower Manhattan.
Total duration is three hours.
