Itinerary idea in detail

With international flights from a choice of airports including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Temples of Angkor.

  • On arrival in Siem Reap, you will be collected from the airport and taken to your hotel. The evening is at leisure.

  • Discover the temples of Angkor today on two wheels. Your guide will lead you down remote trails to avoid the crowds. To break up the day's touring you will enjoy lunch in a traditionally styled restaurant close to the temples. En route back to your hotel, you can stop at a local de-mining project.

  • Venture off to some remote outer temples today to escape the crowds. Later you learn about Siem Reap's growing art scene before attending the popular Phare Ponleu Selpak evening performance.

  • After breakfast, you will be transferred overland to Battambang for the next few days. The evening is at leisure.

  • This morning you will take part in a hands-on cooking class before taking a ride on the bamboo train.

  • Travel from Battambang to the capital, Phnom Penh, via the ancient capital of Udong. Overnight at iRoHa Garden Hotel & Resort.

  • Join a local guide today for an interesting architectural tour of the city. Later this evening you will learn about Phnom Penh's growing craft beer scene.

  • Drive to the sleepy town of Kampot. You will see very pretty scenery and meet local people, really getting under the skin of the real Cambodia. Your guide and driver are with you on this journey to help you discover what interests you most. Overnight at a riverside hotel.

  • A full day exploring the area including an active excursion on Kampot's waterways — paddleboarding or kayaking followed by lunch at a local pepper plantation.

  • Travel along Cambodia's southern coastline before arriving at the 4 Rivers Floating Lodge. At leisure this afternoon.

  • Surrounded by beautiful mangrove forests, this is a great place to relax and get away from it all. There are numerous free activities available, including taking out a kayak and exploring the mangroves or fishing from your private terrace from where you can catch your dinner. The lodge also has a number of organised excursions you may wish to join, including a full-day boat tour to the Tatai Waterfall. There is also a daily sunset cruise. All of these trips can also be arranged privately subject to boat and guide availability. Other activities include a trek through the jungles of the Cardamom Mountains.

  • Today, you leave Cambodia behind, crossing into Thailand and to a nearby port, where you take a boat to Koh Chang Island. Overnight on Koh Chang.

  • Day at leisure.

  • Day at leisure.

  • Travel back to the mainland today where you will be met and transferred to the airport in time for your flight to Bangkok. On arrival in Bangkok, you will have a short transit before boarding your flight home. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
