My career in travel started off in retail where I worked my way up to managing several travel agencies in and around London — I did this for eight years. Feeling the need to explore other travel industry channels I moved to a leading airline, focusing on reservation management. However, my passion in working within the travel industry remained in tailor-made sales and in 2013 I made the decision to return to this role at Audley.

After travelling to the West Coast of America I decided that I wanted to see a lot more of the states and made several trips back to the US, which included the East Coast, New England, and Florida. My most recent adventure being an exploration of the American South, including New Orleans, Vicksburg, Memphis, Nashville and Atlanta,

I enjoy getting to know my clients to ensure I create the perfect itinerary for their special travel plans.

I recommend visiting - New York, USA

My all-time favourite destination is New York City! It's a melting pot of cultures. During the day, Central Park, Wall Street, United Nations, the Empire State Building, and the Statue of Liberty, along with Ellis Island, capture the attention of every traveller. However, the city is alive 24-hours a day and its nightlife is thriving. Times Square lights up while Broadway displays some of the best theatre options the world has to offer. Personally I enjoy a day outside of Midtown Manhattan, visiting the likes of Greenwich Village, East Village and Williamsburg. For me, New York City is one of the world's most exciting places to visit.

Oak Haven Resort in the Great Smoky Mountains is one of my favourite accommodations in the USA. It's a real 'get away from it all' retreat, and a perfect stop between city breaks. Its individual log cabins with outdoor hot tubs overlooking the woodlands are not something that you get to experience every day!

I'll never forget when…

Taking the 'Big Apple' helicopter flight over Manhattan on my last trip to New York was an incredible experience, with breathtaking views over the city. Seeing the city from a bird's-eye view is something I won't forget in a long time.
