The hotel’s top suites each have private balconies overlooking the lake and mountains.

Location

An unrivalled location, the Chateau occupies one of Canada’s most exclusive addresses, right on the shores of famous Lake Louise and within Banff National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Food and drink

The hotel boasts an exceptional selection of dining options, with choices to suit any occasion. The upscale Fairview Bar and Restaurant offers locally sourced fine dining, while the Lakeview Lounge is perfect for cocktails and nibbles. Enjoy European cuisine and a great wine list at Walliser Stube, or relax at Alpine Social with casual drinks and eats. For a smaller bite, The Guide’s Pantry offers all-day pastries, and opt for breakfast with a view at Poppy Brasserie.

Environmental and social responsibility

The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise has been awarded the coveted Five Green Keys (out of a possible five) in the Green Key certification programme, which awards hotels for exemplary environmental stewardship. There are several measures in place including incorporating ‘no net negative environmental impact’ practices, energy and water saving measures, sustainable food, and toiletry recycling.
