Nita Lake Lodge is nestled in the village of Creekside, a short walk from Whistler Village centre.
It is boutique in size and feel, with stylish interiors that make use of natural materials such as basalt. The onus is on relaxing and enjoying the natural environment: the hotel has its own spa and wellness facilities, and the Whistler Valley Trail is accessible from the lakeside.
We like this hotel for its boutique style as well as its tranquil location on the edge of Nita Lake, despite the fact that it is close to the main centre and activities of Whistler.

Rooms
Rooms are called suites and come in five different sizes. The largest is the Rainforest Suite, but the One and Two Bedroom Lake View Suites are the only rooms which guarantee views of Nita Lake. Nita Suites have balconies and partial lake views. All rooms have king size beds, geothermal heating, air-conditioning, oversize bathrooms with soaker tub and separate rain shower, and a seating area.
Location
The Lodge is situated at the base of Whistler Mountain, on the shores of Nita Lake, and a few minutes' drive from Whistler Village centre. It is also next door to Whistler’s train station.
Food and drink
The retro-themed in-house restaurant, Aura, overlooks the lake and serves breakfast and dinner. The Cure Lounge and Patio is an outdoor venue which serves drinks and rustic food with an urban twist. Brunch is available there on Sundays. The Fix is a café frequented by locals as well as guests, with sandwiches, soups, salads, freshly squeezed juices and homemade pastries.
Facilities and activities
There is a complimentary 4x4 shuttle service for visits to Whistler Village. The spa offers a variety of treatments and spa users can access the hotel’s rooftop hot tubs, plunge pool and steam room. Bikes, canoes, kayaks, and paddleboards can be borrowed from the hotel, with complimentary snow shoes in winter. There are also on-site yoga classes.
