West Point is one of the most westerly points on Prince Edward Island, lying on a long stretch of sandy beach and surrounded by Cedar Dunes Provincial Park.
The lighthouse here has a small collection of memorabilia and photographs portraying the lives of the early lighthouse keepers.
This is an ideal spot to go swimming, walking or perhaps cycle along the country lanes.
