All have great views over the city along with a sleek contemporary design. This is MaxX by Steigenberger Shanghai's' first property on the Chinese mainland, and each room has a blend of Taiwanese elegance and Shanghainese history.
Location
Situated on the Huangpu River and overlooking the Bund, this hotel is a great base for a stay in Shanghai. The commercial areas on East Nanjing Road are also within walking distance, while the Yu Gardens are very accessible.
Food and drink
MaxX by Steigenberger Shanghai features the comfortable Café Dongxi restaurant, which offers complimentary breakfast as well as à la carte dining for lunch and dinner. The menu has a large variety of Western and Chinese dishes, including authentic regional Taiwanese cuisine.
