Originally built as a private residence just off the fashionable Champs-Élysées and close to the Arc de Triomphe, Hôtel Lancaster has expertly maintained the style and sophistication of a refined Parisian townhouse while also placing high importance on friendly and helpful service. The chic rooms and suites have high ceilings and large windows and are adorned with chandeliers, marble fireplaces and a mix of antique and contemporary furnishings. Marlene Dietrich is known to have lived here for three years during the glamorous 1930s and some of her personal items and accessories have now been put on display in a suite in her name. The hotel’s restaurant boasts two Michelin stars and features an in-house sommelier, while its Parisian-salon style bar serves afternoon tea and a selection of cocktails and drinks later in the evening.
Hôtel Lancaster is a sophisticated boutique property evocative of the residences of 1930s high society. It now offers warm, friendly service and a first rate restaurant.

Rooms
The chic rooms here are styled to resemble a Parisian apartment with large windows, chandeliers, and marble bathrooms and fireplaces. Set against the white panelled walls, there are hints of rich greys, golds and purples in the paintings and fabrics which stand out against the original parquet flooring. Within each room you can expect the convenience of a TV, complimentary Wi-Fi, air conditioning and an iPod dock which all come as standard. Should you choose to stay in the Marlene Dietrich Suite, you will also find a grand piano and a collection of the actor's belongings.
Location
Located just off of the grand Champs-Élysées, Hôtel Lancaster is ideally situated for shopping as well as being just a 10-minute walk from the historic Arc de Triomphe. Despite its location close to a bustling area, the hotel itself is quiet and peaceful. Paris’s Gare du Nord train station is around a 30-minute drive away, depending on traffic.
Food and drink
A full buffet breakfast is served in the hotel’s restaurant while a lighter meal of breads, baked goods, and hot and cold beverages are served at the bar. The bar, which has the feeling of a Parisian salon, opens onto a lush patio in warmer weather. It serves afternoon tea and in the evenings, a host of cocktails and alcoholic drinks with live music on select nights. The restaurant, La Table du Lancaster, has two Michelin stars and is renowned for its creative menu and elegant setting as well as its extensive wine list curated by an in-house sommelier.
