Responsible Choice
Claiming an entire hilltop within the beach-fringed Peloponnese countryside, Amanzoe is a serene hideaway, surrounded by expansive views of the Aegean Sea and manicured gardens filled with citrus, pomegranate, and olive trees. A modern day Acropolis, the resort’s design has accents of classical Greek accents combined with the contemporary lines for which Aman is renowned. Expect to find soft-grey stone, white marble, and fabrics in neutral tones. Within these breathtaking surroundings, the resort provides the space, peace, and discretion of an exclusive retreat with three Beach Cabanas, 38 stand-alone guest pavilions and 11 private multi-bedroom villas, all with private swimming pools.
Delivering impeccable service and attention to detail, the hotel’s dining options and facilities cater to the wants and needs of even the most demanding guest. A private beach club is a 10-minute drive away (shuttles run on demand throughout the day). The spa and gym are outstanding, and the yoga pavilion is one of the most beautiful we’ve come across. The choice of restaurants offers varied cuisine, focusing on top-quality and often, local ingredients.
No other hotel in the country offers the level of luxury, natural beauty, service and facilities that we found on display at Amanzoe. The hotel is a destination in itself.

Rooms
Each of the 38 freestanding pavilions has a private pool and terrace with outside seating, and a spacious interior, all secluded from other guests to ensure your privacy. The sleek, contemporary decor makes use of the highest quality fixtures and fabrics, and the flexible floor plan allows you to create open spaces or close off sleeping areas. There are also three beach cabanas with a similar layout to the pavilions but set on the resort’s private beach.
Location
Situated on a hilltop above the town of Porto Heli, overlooking the sea, the property is surrounded by a rustic Greek landscape of olive and cypress trees. The elevated location only amplifies the views of the sea and surrounding mountains of the Peloponnesus.
Food and drink
The numerous dining options cater to a variety of tastes. As well as expansive views, the fine-dining restaurant offers up Mediterranean cuisine focused on the finest local ingredients. The pool restaurant serves Japanese cuisine in the evenings, and the Beach Club restaurant has a pizza oven.
Facilities and activities
Among the hotel’s plentiful facilities, the Beach Club is a ten-minute drive away and a shuttle van will transport you down, on request, throughout the day (you can also bike down, if you’d prefer). There are two pools for adults and two for children, as well as an extensive spa with state-of-the-art facilities and treatments. For keeping active, you have use of an excellent fitness area and the open-air yoga pavilion with its beautiful views, as well as the tennis courts. A quiet, high-ceilinged library contains more than 1,000 volumes for guests to borrow during their stay.
