Carnoustie Ayurveda & Wellness Resort is a welcome addition to the options available on Marari Beach. It is perfectly situated among the palm trees stretching back from the beach, only 20 km (12 miles) from the backwaters of Alappuzha, and a 90-minute drive from Fort Cochin.

Accommodation comprises 40 spacious, very well appointed villas, most with private pool, all surrounded by timber decking very much in keeping with the surroundings. Each villa has a pitched, thatched roof, creating a feeling of space and calm inside.

The resort prides itself on the quality of its cuisine, and guests can choose to eat in the beautiful bamboo-made multi-cuisine restaurant, Ida, or in the seafood restaurant Chimaera.

The 9 Degree North Bar and poolside bar complete the dining and drinking options. Carnoustie also boasts a fully equipped Ayurveda spa, and yoga is available to guests, both of which one can book upon arrival.
