  • Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Delhi. On arrival at Delhi Airport, you’ll be greeted by your Audley representative and driver, who will stay with you for your time in India. Drive to your hotel and relax for the evening, before embarking on the next leg of your adventure.

  • Today you’ll explore the old and new sides of Delhi, beginning in the Old City, where you’ll experience the sights, smells and tastes of the Chandni Chowk Bazaar. Then, driving over to New Delhi, you’ll take in the architectural highlights, including the well-known India Gate.

  • This morning you’ll be driven to Agra, home of the Taj Mahal, which you’ll be able to see from your room. On arrival, explore the Red Fort with your private guide. Enjoy abundant facilities at your hotel this evening.

  • Rise early this morning to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. The site is quietest in the early hours, allowing for a more tranquil experience. You’ll then be driven to Jaipur via the village of Abhaneri, where you can see the Chand Baori stepwell. Arriving in Jaipur, you have the evening to relax.

  • This morning, enjoy a private guided tour of Amber Fort, the original Maharaja's Palace, which lies 40 minutes outside the city. Then, visit the local Museum of Hand Printing, before heading back into the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur to see the Palace of the Winds and the City Palace.

  • Spend the morning relaxing at your hotel. We recommend a leisurely breakfast, followed by some time to relax by the pool. This afternoon, join a local guide to see the textile and art workshops that give Jaipur its name as the craft capital of India.

  • Today you’ll have private transfers to and from the airport for your flight to Mumbai.

  • Today you’ll check in to your cruise, which will be docked in Mumbai overnight. Spend the rest of the day exploring the city: you might choose to take a half-day orientation tour to see the main sites. Or, take a full-day trip to delve deeper into the city’s cultural highlights, from meeting the Kolis People in their fishing village to visiting the 200-year-old community of Matharpacady and eating at Trishna, the esteemed fresh fish restaurant.

The Elephanta Caves, a collection of carved temples dedicated to the Hindu god Shiva and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, are a quick ferry ride from Mumbai.
