There are several reputable dive centres and it is easy to organise dive excursions here with the islands of Palau Siladan and Palau Bunaken, located just one hour by boat from Manado.
World War II aeroplane wrecks
Turtles and dolphins are often spotted and knowledgeable dive operators can take you to explore some sunken World War II aeroplane wrecks.
With easy access from Manado international airport, visitors can fly via Singapore, Denpasar on Bali or Jakarta on Java.
