The L’Orologio is an elegant boutique hotel in the heart of Venice. The original Venetian building was refurbished and redesigned, keeping the charm of its traditional Venetian heritage, whilst also showcasing a modern touch with distinct furnishings and refreshing hues. As per the hotel name, a private collection of the hotel owners watches and clocks are tastefully displayed around the hotel, and each room has a themed clock displayed just outside the door.

OUR OPINION:

An intriguing hotel in the heart of Venice, it's ideal for exploring the city. The terrace and bar is perfect for relaxing and taking in views of the Grand Canal before heading out to dinner in one of Venice's many restaurants.

Rooms

The beautifully designed rooms are decorated in a modern, minimalist style, with parquet floors and modern furnishings, many with views overlooking the Grand Canal. All rooms have modern amenities with TV, air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. The room selection ranges from superior to premium suites.

Location

The L’Orologio is has a prime position on the Grand Canal. It's great location, five minutes from the Rialto Bridge and about 15 minutes from St Mark’s Square, makes it an ideal place for exploring Venice.

Food and drink

  • Breakfast is served in their breakfast room which offers a delightful start to the day with a variety of options. You can enjoy a selection of hot and cold dishes including bacon, eggs, pastries, and even Prosecco.
  • The bar is known as the Santa Cocktail Club, renowned for its signature cocktails, which are crafted with high-end spirits and quality ingredients, ensuring each drink is a memorable. The atmosphere is elegant, featuring a stone counter and vintage leather armchairs, making it a perfect spot to relax with a Venetian aperitivo or enjoy a crafted cocktail. The bar also offers a selection of finger foods and gourmet tastings to complement the drinks. Located on the ground floor, there is an outside area which provides views of the Grand Canal.
