Audley Travel extends its flexible cancellation promise
Published: 06/10/2020 / Updated: 03/11/2022
Introduced originally in the summer to give clients peace of mind in uncertain times, tailor-made tour operator Audley Travel has now extended its flexibility promise to give absolute confidence to clients who want to travel again.
Flexibility to rearrange a trip until the end of 2022
Audley’s flexible cancellation promise has been popular with clients since its introduction in June. It has now been extended, so clients can continue to take advantage of the reassurance of being able to rearrange their trip (dates or destination) without any amendment fee, up to 45 days before they are due to travel. Additional charges may be incurred based on the changes to the trip such as accommodation and/or seasonality. To qualify, the trip must be booked by 31st December 2020 and travel dates can be moved to departures up to 31st December 2022. If FCDO advice impacts the trip (including updated rules on quarantining) and a client is not able to rearrange their trip to a future date, Audley will offer a full refund.
Extra flexibility on trips to all European destinations until December 2021
In addition, extra flexibility is available on European trips to destinations including Austria, Belgium, Croatia, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland and Spain. Clients who book trips to European destinations by 31st December 2020 (for travel before 14th December 2021), can cancel up to 14 days before the scheduled departure date and receive a full refund, with no questions asked.
Alex Bentley, Head of Product for Audley Travel, says: “Many of our clients are keen to travel again to make up for the lost opportunity in 2020. Therefore, we are delighted to be able to extend our flexible cancellation promise through to the end of 2022 to give them full flexibility in their plans and enable them to book with us in absolute confidence.”
