Visit Todos Santos, Mexico

The small picturesque town of Todos Santos is a natural paradise and was denominated a "Pueblo Mágico" (magic town) in 2006 mainly because of its well preserved historical buildings, its buoyant fishermen cum artist community, and its diversity of landscapes and microclimates — where the desert meets the Sierra Laguna mountain range.

Located on the Pacific coast about 45 miles north of Cabo San Lucas (1.5 hours drive), it is a little oasis of palms and fruit trees producing delicious mangos, papayas, avocados and more. It has a lovely charming colonial centre that has long attracted artists and as a result many small cafés and restaurants have opened up. The Pacific Ocean is about two kilometres from the town centre and the surrounding fertile fields nestle alongside miles of pristine, unspoiled beaches. The area attracts beach lovers, bird-watchers, hikers, wildlife enthusiasts, kayakers, surfers, scuba-divers and fishermen. It makes for a lovely place to relax at the end or beginning of any trip to the region and is easy and safe to walk around even at night.
