One of our favourite camps in the Terkhiin Tsagaan Nuur National Park, Khorgo Camp is located in the volcanic valley to the east of the lake, a short drive from the lakeshore and around six kilometres from the small village of Tariat.
The camp is equipped with 70 guest ger tents, its own springwater well, and shared facilities are of a good standard. The staff here are friendly and welcoming, and keen to share their love of the local environment. Food is served in a large restaurant ger and is prepared using locally sourced ingredients, from homemade yak yoghurt to Mongolian mutton stew.
