Today you begin your journey by boarding your international outbound flight to Marrakesh. Your family will be met at the airport by a local representative and driven to your riad, located in the walled, old city of Marrakesh. This is a short 15-minute drive from the airport. We have included fast-track assistance through the airport, meaning you and your family can skip the long queues at immigration and be at your hotel in no time.

Today, embark on a privately guided tour of the hidden sides of Marrakesh, including its fondouks, and souqs. Your expert local guide will tailor the tour to your family’s interests and activity level. In the afternoon, your family will indulge in a tasting trail through Marrakesh with your private guide. You’ll get a chance to sample some of the country’s delicious cuisine from street food stalls and restaurants.

This morning you have a half-day visit to the Majorelle Gardens and Yves Saint Laurent Museum next door. The tranquil gardens provide a welcome contrast to the hustle and bustle of the medina. Here, you can stroll among cacti, bamboo and gurgling streams and visit the Amazigh Museum, which has a collection of items that once belonged to Amazigh tribes. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you please. You may wish to head to Djemaa el Fna, the main square, where you can watch street performers, or relax at your hotel and enjoy the facilities.

Today your family will have a half-day panoramic sidecar tour of the city, which will allow you to explore areas unvisited by most tourists. Along with your local guide, you will all be driven around Marrakesh and explore the hidden highlights of this city including the Palmeraie, known for its mix of tall palm trees, desert oasis and luxurious walled villas, Marrakesh’s medina, and the 1920s-influenced Gueliz district. This is a really fun experience, great for all the family, and gives you a unique perspective on the city. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you wish.

Depart Marrakesh in the late morning and head to the Agafay Desert, a one-hour drive from Marrakesh. This arid area with rocky hills and views of the High Atlas Mountains is perfect if you're looking to get a flavour of a desert experience, but don't have time to travel all the way to the Erg Chebbi. On arrival, you will have time to enjoy the desert camp's facilities including the outdoor swimming pool. In the evening, spend time stargazing and marvelling at the incredible starry sky.

This morning, before you depart for the High Atlas Mountains, you will have time to do one of the activities on offer at your desert camp, tailored to your family’s preferences. This could be quad biking across the dunes, going for a bike ride in the desert, or a creative activity like pottery making. Upon arrival at your hotel in the Atlas Mountains, you will have some time at leisure to relax at your hotel and admire the views.

Today you will head out into the foothills of the Ourika Valley for a half-day hike with your local guide. Your guide has intimate knowledge of the High Atlas Mountains and will speak with you about your family’s activity level before you set off. Wherever you go, you can be guaranteed incredible views. You'll pass through rural villages and stop at lunchtime for a picnic before heading back to your hotel.

Today, you venture to a rural Amazigh village to learn more about their local life and rituals. You will spend time with an Amazigh family and your family can help to cook a traditional meal together in their home. Your expert host will tailor the menu to your family’s preferences.

Your driver will be waiting outside your hotel to escort your family to Marrakesh Airport for your onward journey. A local representative will meet you at the airport and help with your departure. Your return flight will arrive the same day.
