Most key locations offer a range of places to stay, but if travelling off the beaten track, accommodation is restricted to simple guesthouses and hotels. In the key locations of Yangon, Inle Lake, Bagan and Mandalay there are a number of beautiful boutique options but demand often outstrips supply.
