Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

The Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge is a new luxury lodge that has been built right on the edge of the Volcanoes National Park at Ruhengeri. It's excellently located for gorilla trekking and other activities in the park, only ten minutes' drive from the Park Headquarters and its location at 7,000 ft above sea level will help acclimatise you to the altitude for the gorilla trek.

The main lodge and all of the eight cottages have stunning views of the string of Virunga Volcanoes, and are well spaced out for privacy. The cottages are spacious and include a sitting room with fireplace, bedroom, dressing room, 24 hour electricity and a large bathroom with bath and shower with hot and cold running water. They also have a sheltered balcony where you can relax and read a book or marvel at the views. Other facilities include a library and games room in the main lodge, bar and restaurant and room service on request.
