The Cape Cadogan is housed in an attractive, historic building which was awarded National Monument status in 1984. Built in both Georgian and Victorian architectural styles, the building has retained many of its original features, but combines them with modern amenities.
The calm and sophisticated interiors provide a welcoming, comfortable retreat from the rush of the city. In the main courtyard is a terrace and plunge pool for guests to sit back and soak up the sunshine, while the library offers a social area for mingling with other guests. You can also sample some of the fine wines at the hotel's honesty bar, or relax with a book in front of the fire in colder months.
This characterful hotel offers a quiet, calm retreat just a minute away from the bustle of Kloof Street, and fantastic access to the city. Those who appreciate a unique boutique hotel will enjoy their time at The Cape Cadogan, with its quirky, historic style.
