Rooms

There are several room sizes available. Half of them face the city, and the other half face the lake — we highly recommend the lake-view rooms, both for the view and for the buffer from the street noise.

All rooms are decorated in the same cool, bright style as the rest of the hotel: wooden floors, soft blues and greys, neutral fabrics and large windows. The white marble bathrooms are huge and some have bathtubs.

The Junior Suites have balconies and additional sitting areas, while the large Executive Suite includes enormous sliding glass doors that offer a sweeping lake view.

Location

The Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic is located directly opposite the train station, giving you access to the rest of the country at a moment’s notice. It’s also in the heart of Montreux, on the main street that runs along the shoreline of the lake. High-end shops, sophisticated restaurants and the garden promenade along the lakefront are all just outside your door.

Food and drink

• The bar and lounge serves a wide selection of beer, wine and cocktails plus a light bar menu. There is also a cigar lounge.
• Le 45 is the main restaurant for breakfast and dinner, with a glass front providing panoramic lake views. A healthy international menu is available in the evening.
• Breakfast is a huge spread of hot and cold buffet options.
• The terrace has both table seating and soft lounge seating with views of Lake Geneva.

Families

• Some Junior Suites offer a sofa bed.
• The Executive Junior suite can accommodate up to two children on foldaway beds.

Some rooms are wheelchair accessible, but rooms and showers haven't been adapted for wheelchair users.
