The Surin is located on one of Phuket’s prettiest white sand beaches, sheltered in the quiet, palm-fringed Pansea Bay. The 108 cottages are staggered across the hillside and coconut groves, with views of the bay and turquoise waters.
The beachfront suites are spacious, and have direct access onto the beach. The restaurants offer imaginative menus, combining Western and Thai influences, as well as freshly caught fish and seafood. Other facilities include a spa, swimming pool and a whole host of activities and water sports.
The Surin, after an extensive renovation, is now one of the island's prettiest escapes. The resort is characterised by its understated elegance, and is the perfect place to relax. Please note that if you find climbing stairs at all difficult this may not be the resort for you — please ask your consultant for further details.

Food and drink
Lomtalay Thai Restaurant: authentic Thai cuisine is served in a breathtaking setting, created by renowned American architect Ed Tuttle. Guests can enjoy unobstructed views of the Andaman Sea, whilst enjoying dishes from either an à la carte menu, or from a traditional set menu for two, that changes daily.
Sunset Café and Bar: a casual all-day menu of Italian and international specialities, served tapas style. The Sunset Bar becomes the meeting point for an apéritif before dinner, and is the best venue to witness the spectacular sunset.
Beach Restaurant: the Beach Restaurant offers the finest freshly caught fish and seafood from the Andaman Sea, as well as selected imported prime meat cuts from the charcoal barbecue. A great setting, overlooking the ocean. Open, weather permitting, in high season only (mid/end October to April) from 12 noon to 10.30pm (last orders).
