Spend the next four nights in a charming resort nestled amidst the lush tropical jungle and powdery white beaches. The resort and your villa, complete with a private pool, allow you to fully unwind and rejuvenate, making it the ideal introduction to your Thailand adventure.

  • Spend a leisurely day on Koh Samet, allowing yourself to acclimate to the new time zone. Relax in the serene beachfront setting of your resort, surrounded by the clear turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand.

  • Enjoy another day at leisure on Koh Samet. You may wish to explore the scenic coastline with the complimentary kayaks or paddleboards today.

  • A final day relaxing by the beach before you start exploring the vibrant culture and magnificent landscapes of Thailand.

  • Depart Koh Samet for Bangkok and your onward flight to Chiang Mai. Thailand’s second largest city is surrounded by scenic mountains, rice terraces and rolling countryside. On arrival, you'll be met by your private guide and transferred to a charming boutique-style property close to the banks of the Ping River. This afternoon, experience the serene beauty of Wat Pra That Doi Suthep. Your guide will share the temple’s fascinating history and lead you through its impressive chedi adorned with murals. Following a blessing ceremony, listen to the monks’ evening chants and enjoy the views of Chiang Mai’s glittering lights.

  • Dive into the vibrant heart of Chiang Mai today during your private full-day city tour. Take a songthaew (local truck) to Wat Gatekaram, exploring its markets, temples and unique street life. Pedal your way through the ancient hidden treasures of Wiang Kum Kam and glide down the Ping River on a long-tail boat. After lunch, enjoy a samlor ride to one of the most spectacular ruins in the city and finish your day with a tuk-tuk ride to a local market.

  • Today, immerse yourself in Thai culture as a local host welcomes you to their family home. Learn to cook a variety of authentic Northern Thai dishes with produce harvested from the garden and savour a home-cooked meal with the family. The rest of the day is for you to spend at your leisure.

  • This morning you will be met by staff from Elephant Hills to take you and other guests to your tented camp in the mountains of Chiang Mai. This afternoon, your group will spend time with the resident elephants and the Karen Mahout tribe. Observe the magnificent animals in their natural habitat, help at feeding time and learn about the life and traditions of the mahout family. End the day with a sundowner with views over the Ping River and barbecued Thai delicacies.

  • Start your day by heading to the forest for a traditional 'kafee boran' coffee, while watching elephants take their morning dip and learning about the Bush Camp. After lunch, unwind by the pool or relax on your tent balcony, soaking in the natural beauty of your surroundings. As the day ends, enjoy another sunset drink with stunning mountain views, followed by a dinner under the stars.

  • This morning, head to the elephant valley for a final feeding opportunity with the gentle giants. Then bid the camp farewell as the staff takes you and other guests to the airport. You will travel back to Bangkok where a private guide will meet you and take you to your boutique hotel located near the leafy Lumphini Park. This evening, explore Bangkok’s food scene with your private guide by tuk-tuk. Try local delicacies and immerse yourself in the eclectic atmosphere of the city.
