Named after the first ship to cross the Arctic Northeast Passage, SH Vega was developed to journey to faraway and remote Polar places in style and comfort. Designed for immersive experiences and extensive open views, SH Vega features an expedition laboratory, marine life library and observation lounge for lectures by expert expedition leaders and specialists from a wide range of disciplines. Expedition day trips by zodiac are a central feature of the programmes that they offered, along with kayaking, trekking and other activities. The on-board amenities include a spa, sauna, gym, library, panoramic restaurant and club lounge serving world-class cuisine, as well as a pool deck with bar.
Cabins
All 76 cabins are exceptionally spacious, with exterior views and en-suite facilities. All cabins offer smart HDTV, electronic safe box, writing desk with chair, minibar, slide-opening wardrobe, and a seating area.
Dining
- The Swan Dining Room is the main venue for breakfast, lunch and dinner and serves international and regional cuisine focused on quality, creativity and flavours. Breakfast and lunch are served on the buffet, while dinner is a sit-down affair complete with white tablecloths and linen napkins.
- The Club Lounge is SH Vega’s more informal restaurant and offers a living room-style atmosphere and access to the alfresco Poolside Bar. The menu options here feature a range of gastro market small plates, along with oven-baked pizzas, salads and tapas. Guests are also encouraged to use the Club Lounge for light bites, pastries, and self-service coffee throughout the day.
