Shangri-La's Mactan Resort & Spa sits on 0.13 square kilometres of landscaped tropical grounds bordered by a small but pristine white sand beach. The resort offers a multitude of facilities and activities to entertain any guest, including five restaurants, a music bar, two swimming pools, tennis courts, a putting green, a spa, health club and water sports such as scuba diving, parasailing, jet skiing and kayaking. Accommodation comprises 530 rooms and suites — 354 in the Main Wing and 176 in the more exclusive Ocean Wing, which is set in a quieter location among the lush gardens and has its own private driveway and entrance. A wide range of room categories are offered to suit all guests, from comfortable deluxe and deluxe family rooms to the luxurious two bedroom Shangri-La suite in the Main Wing and from inviting premier rooms to the opulent presidential suite in the Ocean Wing. Many rooms and suites offer sweeping sea views, while others look out onto the pleasant greenery of the gardens or the sparkling pool. All rooms offer a private balcony or patio and at least 34 square metres of living space, with amenities such as complimentary Wi-Fi access, satellite TVs, in-room safes and tea/coffee making facilities ensuring that each guest feels at home.
