Danum Valley Night Safari

Join one of the park's open-top 4x4 safari vehicles and head out on a shared night safari through the dense rainforest with a driver and guide.

Using a powerful spotlight your guide will point out insects, birds and mammals in the trees and shrubs lining the road. You have a good chance of spotting sambar deer, giant squirrels, sleeping proboscis monkeys and other primates as well as some birds. Particularly lucky visitors might see nesting orangutan, elephants and even leopard cats.
