Stanley's Camp

Stanley's Camp is situated in a 260,000 acre private concession in the southern reaches of the Okavango Delta.

Large tracts of open savannah are broken up by date palm islands, lagoons and twinkling channels. Near to deep water areas, Stanley's has access to year round water which acts as a magnet for game and provides opportunities for mokoro trips.

Stanley's has eight classically styled safari tents that are the ultimate in luxury. There are handcrafted beds dressed with the finest linen, antique furniture and rich oriental rugs. The main building is raised on beautiful polished wooden decks and has extensive views over the surrounding floodplains.

Stanley's Camp offers some of the best game viewing in the Okavango Delta. There is an abundance of buffalo, elephant, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah and wild dog. Perhaps one of the most wonderful features of the camp is the interaction you can enjoy with a herd of semi-habituated elephant. Spend a day learning about the elephant and observing them up close in their natural environment.

Other activities available at Stanley's include serene water safaris in mokoros and game drives in open 4x4 vehicles — including the rare opportunity of night drives. Due to the fact that Stanley's Camp is in a private concession, you also have the exclusive option of walking safaris with an armed professional guide.
